everyone hates orange until they actually see her in context. "oh it's such an ugly color, too bright!" look at sunsets and autumn, look at campfires and deserts. she's the most beautiful and special part of the scene. now apologize.
I think it's an unrecognized practice to allow yourself to outgrow and shed versions of yourself that were more socially successful than who you want or need to be now. Not every new chapter is bigger and bolder and hotter, I think that's a very modern social media "glow up" mindset and doesn't actually have any room for what real transformation looks like. Sometimes we change exactly as we need to and it's not what anyone else was hoping for and that's part of it being important and true.
love when hair dye tells me to do a spot test. nah man whatever happens happens
@dimiclaudeblaigan asked for a tutorial on how to begin drawing. Good news! If you can draw a funky looking stick man, you have already started!
I think that stick people are a great starting point for artists because of the things you can learn from them that will be important later on.
If you are able to draw a circle and a couple of lines, you can easily put together a stick person.
Congratulations! You have started to draw. :)
A stick person is a very minimal artistic representation of a real life person. It is simple yet recognizable, and is widely used in art, media, and signage.
But what can a stick person teach us about drawing people that look more like… well, people? Lets have a look!

BLEACH | EPISODE 18
I'm sure Kishimoto didn't intend anything with it other than making him a 'closeted pervert' but gosh looking from psychological point of view it was a great choice for Kakashi's character. Hear me out - he is a deeply traumatized individual, father died by sui*ide, he watched one friend die before him, while the other literally impaled herself on his hand to commit sui*ide. He grew up lonely, losing most of his closest people along the way. You bet, Kakashi is absolutely averse to intimacy, he is peak avoidant attachment style, like it can't get any worse. So what else is there left to do? He goes and lives the relationships throughout the characters. That's why Kakashi spends so much time reading porn - to have the gratification that otherwise is non-existent in his life. I just love how in-character that one little detail is for Kakashi. Like, yes baby go read your porn, it's the only way for you to feel things because you are too broken for true intimacy but you still crave for it. All hail, the traumatized King Kakashi Hatake, he deserves the best!
if you're not obsessed with anything weird and niche please try harder. stop going outside for a while. consider getting weirder about the things you already like
what’s for you is coming
so like. obviously it's an immensely tragic route to take but sometimes it's just so satisfying for a story to go "there's no happy ending this time. resistance is futile in this scenario. the 'good guys' can't win. this is a pointless last stand. so for their final act, our beloved characters are going to rock the antagonist's shit so fucking hard it makes you stare at a wall struggling to process what just happened and how you feel about it for hours afterwards."
i simply think that sometimes it's the best possible narrative decision to allow characters to become supernovas, imploding on themselves but taking as much with them as possible. "you can't save anyone" "maybe not, but i can hurt you". fuck yes. if you can't beat them, tear them apart.
